Dive Site: Vallecitos Point
Surf:2-3 ft
Current:south
Time 8:30am
Visibility 30 ft
Sightings: We had a lot of 2 spot Octos out and about. Unfortunately we
witnessed an octo get attacked by a fringehead and all the others came
dashing out of there holes to have a bite. This went on for over 5
minutes. We continued on the canyon and passed by a juvenile horn shark, a
foraging Bat Ray feeding on the tube worms. Coming up through the shallows
we spotted a few sting rays and 1 leopard shark. It was a very fun dive
with beautiful visibility.
