4/25/13 Dive Conditions

Beautiful today, sun broke out past the clouds at 9am! The sea is absolutely flat, with amazing visibility. Forty feet or so in the shallows – we spotted a couple baby bat rays in ~3 feet of water so they’re starting to show up. The canyon is colder, drops from 60 to 52 degrees. Murky at the thermocline but great visibility returns 10 feet deeper (same, 40foot visibility!) La Jolla Cove is also nice and flat. Great day to be diving!

Visibility: ~35ft Cove and Shores
Temperature: 60F surface, 52F thermocline (around 35 feet)
Swell height: 1′ to nonexistent.
